Crossing the Screen Film Festival 2020

The 2020 edition marked a significant turning point as it transitioned to an entirely online format due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Held from November 26-29, 2020, this adaptation ensured the safety of participants while continuing to celebrate independent cinema.
Despite the challenges posed by the global health crisis, the festival showcased an impressive lineup of films, including international and British features, shorts, documentaries, and experimental pieces. The move to a digital platform allowed a wider audience to participate, breaking geographical barriers and making the festival accessible to film enthusiasts around the world.

The 2020 edition also included virtual workshops and seminars on various aspects of filmmaking, maintaining the festival’s commitment to education and community engagement.These sessions provided valuable insights and learning opportunities for both emerging filmmakers and seasoned professionals.
